Question

Does everyone have polished nails? I feel like my nails need to breathe. No judgement, just need to speak up for us bare nailed ladies!

Mine have to be bare and all natural for my job. Sometimes I wish I could get them done but at the same time I'm happy with not having that price tag!

I haven't gotten my nails done since November. Letting them grow and breath fo a bit. No polish on or anything.

Put some garlic inside the no color nail polish and you will get them strong. Let the nail polish with garlic for 3 days and after that use it every night

Nope, nothing has worked. Skin was blue but stuff worked on that. Nails are staying for a bit

I get together with a friend about once a year and we go get gels. I think she keeps it up, but I don’t hahaha. I’m pretty much bare all the time.

I rarely wear nail polish. I like to let mine breathe too, and let my nail beds get some good old vitamin D.

I used to love painting my nails, I got really good at doing it myself and have a massive polish collection. I haven't painted them since having my first kid 5 years ago!  no time or energy

I wore acrylics for 6 years or so. Stopped getting them done in October or November. Just letting them grow out and treat myself to manicures once in a while. I miss the glam nails but like not spending the money every 2 weeks. I paint them once in a while but mostly just keep them bare and short. ❤️

Nails are the only thing I'm girly about and it makes me feel better about myself. I use the stick on nails which last about 2 weeks and then I take them off and give my nails a few days to breathe before I put new ones on.

There is no point in painting mine as they chip in an instant. I think I'm missing the dainty gene that means I can keep things nice. I also hate long nails. 2mm of white nail tip is plenty. After that I feel like they're teaming with bacteria and feel really uncomfortable. That's not to say I don't have nail polish in the house. Every so often I try to pretend I'm not a mess that's incapable of having nails that are nice and polished - it's a lie, I just can't do it. Chipped in less than 24 hours. Lol

No way. I only wear them once in a while because I'm on the "nails need to breathe" train. Toot toot! Also, I've seen women's nails who wear polish (of whatever type) continuously for years--most people don't do that though--and the nails are not healthy. I don't want that.

I have flimsy, oily nails so they stay short and bare most of the time! If I have a special occasion I will use $5 press on nails for a day or so.

I polish mine when I can afford to have someone professionally do it. I mostly go for nail/cuticle care with the perk of pretty painted nails. Otherwise my nails are strong and bare!

I have to say I rarely do anything to my hair besides cut also. I wash my hair at night so that I can let it air dry over night (I am anti hair dryer), RARELY highlight my hair (like 3 times in my whole life), no product unless you call occasional dry shampoo a product), wash my hair every 3 days, and am picky about my shampoo and conditioner. I get told constantly that I have beautiful, soft, healthy, thick hair. I keep my nails cut short because it is cleaner (used to work in the medical field), moisturize often, wear gloves around chemicals, very rarely paint my nails, don't use acetone based polish remover at all, NEVER wear fake nails, and occasionally get manicures and pedicures (mostly when my cuticles need cleaned up). I also take Biotin daily. I'm not an all natural everything type of person, but I do try to be mindful about what I do to mine and my families bodies.
