So bad . I had a $1000 on my debit card from overtime and I was so excited to put it on my cc. but then. my sticker for my car was over a hundred. Then to renew my license was $100 then to do this, then to do this. and now I only have $600 to put on :(zzz

@consequential you can create a sinking fund for next year's expenses NOW. Start putting a little aside with every paycheck.

Yes! I might have to start in April. I'm overwhelmed.

Yup! Starting a new job next week (major salary increase) but having trouble with the whole in between companies/paychecks. Trying to somewhat stick to the budget until I know what my new paychecks will look like and when I will get them.

Oh yeah. I’ve blown through my first paycheck and I just got paid last Friday  thank God for extra cash I was saving “for a rainy day” to get me through. Learning lessons though through it.

How did I forget that we have to start over with health insurance deductibles in a new year?

‍♀️ I tore my rotator cuff and I’m looking at surgery in two weeks. Huge deductible plus 20% co-insurance. Already have $500 in PT visits racked up. EF is barely hanging on but will be gone soon to pay rent and utilities for March. I’m looking at weeks off with only 60% pay on std after a waiting week.

January was my rough month. I hope it gets easier for you. I just have to keep telling myself just because you have the money doesn’t mean you need the ‘thing’ for the house. Save up. Keep paying off debt.

I know how you feel! February and March I’ll only have enough left for food and gas after bills go through. Like I work hard for what?!

Yup! I had such a good January I have no idea what happened to February so far. I plan on starting over on Monday though

Yes. I feel like I can't get caught up. Also unexpected expenses. Trying so hard to get on track, save and pay off debt all at the same time is overwhelming. Especially when income is sketchy. :(

@verbal I saw my hubby's paycheck for the last 15 days of February and also saw ramen noodles in our future .

Idk why it feels so mich tighter, I even spread out my expenses between my 2 checks, how did I get by without the budget by paycheck ‍♀️

Yes! My husband's job delayed one of his checks, so extra money we were expecting won't show up until next month. It's so disappointing. It'll be ok, but threw a few things off.
