Has anyone else noticed that taking charge of your finances has changed other areas of your life too? I’ve actually become a less cluttered person and have started going to the gym again. Money is tight in my envelopes this pay period due to doing the $25 a week challenge. I am still managing to put the money away though. I have $30 so far this month for my $5 challenge. I did my income tax yesterday and I’m getting a refund of over $2000. I am going to pay off my govt debt and put the rest towards my lawyer bill. My lawyer still has to bill me for his services from July 2018 to October 2019. They’re not billing me yet so i don’t have to pay interest. I have money in my account and I’m not stressed about it like I was before. I’m even making extra debt payments every month. I make less money than I was 2 years ago but I have more money if that makes sense. Share your budgeting journey wins!

Yes i am soo much happier, dont stress as much about money and have finally managed to save money where as before i thought we had no money left over which we actually do, seeing it all written down and organised has helped us out so much and its only our 1st month doing it x
