Question

I'm having a problem with my numbers not adding up. I primarily pay with my debit card because I live in the city and carrying around cash all the time is not really conducive to my lifestyle. Anyone else having trouble with end of pay period numbers not adding up that use their debit card?

One of my banks used to charge every time i swiped my card as debt. Could it be that?

I also use cashless envelopes (three bank accounts). When I sit down to track my expenses, I pull up my bank account and make sure I’m not missing anything. Otherwise I would be off every single time.

I’m a debit user and track spending daily and it works for me. Are you tracking daily? Sometimes it takes a couple days for payment to post, so maybe that’s it. Last week a payment posted, then disappeared, then re-appeared a few days later.
