For those that buy meat in bulk such as a 1/2 cow or 1/4 cow, what do you pay on average (and how much did you buy)? We are shopping around and got a price sheet on a local farm. I’m just curious on price comparisons. We are in NC. The price sheet shows average 1/4 cow as $700-$800 and 1/8 cow as $400. Locally raised, no antibiotics and all that good stuff. Trying to find ways to cut down on grocery costs and meat is a big one for us!
