@hausfrau28 I'm actually starting to work on mine for tomorrow's pay day as we speak :)

@attah I will be doing that when I get home. I'm excited to go through my envelopes and see what's left and then apply it to debt! Never thought I'd be this excited about budgeting!

Every day I go online to verify banking & then make any adjustments to budget once a week depending on how the previous week ended. I then spend about an hour at end of month reconciling & starting next month.

15 min morning, 5 min night, an hour on paydays. I love every second I spend budgeting. It is my favorite act of self-care.

I enjoy alone time with my budget by paycheck workbook

I spend a few minutes, 5, maybe 10, looking at it each morning to make sure what has cleared and such. At the end of the month I spend a few more to transfer the leftover into savings and zero out the account. Making the next month's budget usually takes less than an hour or so.

30 min the week before a payday looking over bills and setting up payment schedules. I used to spend much more time when i did the due date way vs payday and found i was more stressed. Now I am more relaxed.

I feel like I have been only half committed recently so yesterday and today I spent an hr each day going over March since I get paid tomorrow and that is really my first paycheck for March. In my head I feel like an hour each week combing over everything once I get really good at it would be enough but I’m not sure.

A lot, but March is going to be my 3rd month so I’m still messing things up and learning.

Probably about 40 mins a week checking where I'm up to as we go through the month.

Lots and lots. Lol. When I’m not busy with my munchkins, I’m combing over it to see where I can save more.

I can easily spend 2-3 hours on a Saturday morning! I often mess up the expense tracker and have to go back and redo it

An hour a week at this point. Starting out, probably 3.

This is my first month so countless hours spent on it. I’m looking at it daily. At least 30 minutes a day. My hope/intention is to get in a cadence that’s not so consuming but since I’m new to this it’ll just take time to get there. And I’m fine with it bc I know I’ve poured over every penny spent!

I try and spend 2 evenings a week. I do not use my cards unless it's for bills so it typically does not change. I do everything on quicken so Im constantly adjusting things until I perfect it like I want.

Severalll! I’m barely budgeting since mid-January and I still feel like it’s a lot of work to get used to. I spend about 20-30 mins each day tracking spending and going over the future upcoming expenses/plans and about 1 hour budgeting every Friday on payday
