Question

Does anyone clean houses as a side hustle? I work Monday-Friday 8-430 but I’m thinking about trying to pick up a few houses to clean a week. I’m a little worried about how to make it work with the hours I work since that is very common and when most people would prefer their house cleaned  but I’d love to hear prices you charge, hours you work, etc!

Some folks might want their house cleaned at night or on Saturdays. You can charge by the house/job. have a base you charge but then it depends on what they want cleaned. If they want extra, you charge extra.

I pay someone to come, at $20-25/hr, and she comes in the evenings. When she is here, it makes me pro active to work in tandem and do laundry, organizing on the other side of the house, etc. Plus I am there if she has questions.

Also check with Airbnb if any around they always need someone to clean those places.
