I’ve been working a side hustle the last 8 months and I’ve enjoyed it. I’ve made a little extra money that’s helped with debt and little weekend trips. I’m really thinking of calling it quits for a few months to focus on my health and getting into shape as I’ve been having some minor health issues. Is it bad to quit a second job when it’s 300-400 a month I could be using for debt /savings ? I’ve paid off all my credit cards but I like having the second job for a cushion. Maybe I’ll take up another job again in the summer after a little break ?

You have to take care of you. You don't want to get ill or burn out. If you think you need a break, take a break.

Your health is more important than your finances. If you need a break, then take a break. You can always pick it back up at a later time.

You won’t be able to do anything, a full or part time job, if your health is not good. Give yourself the time you need and get yourself back on an even keel. You can pick up your side hustle again when you’re up to it. Look after yourself ❤️

If you still enjoy your side hustle just let them know you need a break for a bit and would like to be taken off the schedule for x amount of time. That way you are still employed, can pick up shifts if you want to and when you're ready to go back you have something lined up.
