Ok, I am behind in several bills (personal loans). My mortgage and car payments are first, and everything in my four walls. But lately, there’s not enough to keep up with the rest. How do you take care of past due bills? Whichever is oldest, I assume? This is giving me anxiety as I have never really been in this type of situation. I made a big but honestly mistake back in November that got be behind in finances almost $2k And I have been slowly drowning since. I have stuff to sell, I just need to make time and do it! But for now, idk what to do.

Emma, I was in the same place about 6 months ago. I have been behind on my bills for such a long time I did not know where to start. First thing I did was start with writing down all your bills and how much are your behind on them. You need to prioritize what you have. I started making payments plus adding on a small amount. For example I was behind on my electric bill by $100. My bill on average was $200. So I would pay $200 then add on 10-15 dollars. It takes a while. It I am now current on all my bills. I would be to glad to help you. Just PM me. We can work through each bill until they are current. It takes time and patience but it can be done
