Typically you cannot accept paying work while on unemployment.

Yes you can. When you do your weekly claim their should be a question about earning income as an independent contractor or something like that. If you’re ever laid off and making less than your normal full pay you can always apply for unemployment. The amount you were approved for will then be prorated.

It varies by state. I’m in WV. Any work income over $60/week lowers the benefit provided dollar for dollar.

You can but you have to declare hours that you worked.
