Okay first time posting here. Long long story short. I just got a medical bill that is about $300 and the medical company said they are going to turn it over to collections here soon. i had it budgeted to get paid but then my husbands check was short $550 and will be short for the next 5 paychecks. I recently paid off one of his credit cards. Would it be smart to pay the medical bill with a credit card before it goes to collections?
