Get Asurion instead! Apple care doesn’t cover water damage and if they see even a tiny bit of it they won’t cover you. example, you take your phone in the shower with you and the steam creates water damage slightly in your phone and now you aren’t covered. Asurion covers any damage no questions asked

it’s not a brand new phone though. It’s just a refurbished phone.

it’s annoying to me that water damage isn’t covered when the new iPhones are water resistant. My speaker stopped working, and when I went in he said “you must have gotten water in the charging port” - ok. according to you I should be able to SUBMERGE my phone in water, so why would a little water hurt it?

YES! They replaced my 6plus twice then ended up upgrading me to the 6S Plus! Worth it every time!

I hate apple products now but yes I would get it. It is a good deal and can save you lots of money in the long run.

Unpopular opinion, but I have all apple products and don’t buy Apple care I’ve never broken a phone and by the time the battery needs replaced, it’s just time for a new phone If you are broke to breaking things, then yes, if not, it truly is a waste

I have all apple products and never buy apple care or pay insurance through my wireless carrier. My daughter broke my screen on my iPhone X a few years ago and paid Full price to fix it. My daughters phone broke (she dropped it but it didn’t crack the screen) and they replaced it for free because it was within the year Warrenty.

If you purchase Apple Care+ it’ll cover up to two accidental damages every 24 months. You just pay a service fee and they fix whatever. I have this for my MacBook Air that I spilt water on and I only paid $99 for the entire repair.
