I’m current on almost all my debt payments (credit cards & student loans & car payment etc) except a collection from T-Mobile. They just called they will begin reporting poorly starting March on my credit . i thought they had started reporting poorly once i was sent to collections about 3 months ago . I’ve tried negotiating to settle the amount because I switched to AT&T for cheaper service and because AT&T said they would pay my last bill & remaining balance with T-Mobile (which never happened because I didn’t read the fine print which says they only pay ACTUAL CASH VALUE , which didn’t even cover 1% of the final bill. Anyways T-Mobile refuses to settle for less. If I pay them off I won’t be able to pay off other credit cards I’m actually current on . (2 to be exact). It’s already in collections what should I do ? What do y’all recommend ? Do I keep putting it off until they are willing to settle & they will not offer me monthly payment options. ♀️

Can you make the minimum payment on the cc for this month, instead of paying them off, and then pay off T-Mobile? If it didn’t hit your score yet, it might be worth hitting it hard and not letting it. But Idk how much you owe.

Pay off the T-Mobile. Try to add extra payments to credit cards.

Can you call your credit card companies and explain the situation to see if they’ll give you a bit more time to make your payments? Alternatively, do you have anything you can sell to bridge the gap?

Pay it before it reports to your credit. You will regret letting a collection report to your credit if nothing else is reporting negatively.

So if you pay the T-mobile you can't pay the other CC off or you can't make the minimum payment? I would try to take care of the T-mobile if it really isn't on your credit yet. Is there any way to cut expenses just to be able to take care of that and make the minimum payment on your CC?
