This week my goal is to put my EF in a high yield savings account! What are some online banks I need to look into and your pros and cons for the ones you use? I’ve looked into ally and capitol one and capitol one doesn’t have any “approved” ATMs in my location so I’m not too excited about it just to pay to withdraw my own money, but open if it’s so good other than that. Thanks in advance! :D

I would look at banks that offer a bonus for opening and keeping your money there for a few months. My local credit union gave $250 bonus for keeping open for 3 months. There are a few websites that tell you who is offering the best deal right now. The bonuses are better than high interest rates unless you have lots of money to save.

I switched to an Ally account for my Emergency savings. Great interest and I can transfer easily. I just use my ch ed cking account and transfer to and from it.

Make sure to check for any fees as well. Some have them or restrictions.
