Fitness Q: Beach Body or Studio Sweat on Demand? Both are $99/year. Many of you recommend BBOD, but my work offers SSOD at $99.

@sacral3 I’m a beachbody coach and I’d love to personally answer any of your questions and work with you if you haven’t already decided to work with someone. Having the right group is so important, I think you’ll love the amount of variety and access you get with BB programs

Beachbody! They have hundreds of workout programs to choose from. I’ve been doing BOD for 4 years.

Honestly, in my opinion both are a waste of money. I would just go on YouTube or other free resources and look up workouts there. You can find just as good as workouts for free then for paying for Beach body or some other program

I can’t get BBOD to run through my LG smart TV, so I quit using it. I can’t use my phone to work out. It’s too small and annoying for me. ‍♀️ I also did not find the coach or group helpful.

@diagnostic do you have any hdmi ports open or even usb on your Tv? You could do it off your phone and mirror it to your tv like a second monitor
by (1.3k points)
@appropriation I tried relentlessly and can’t get my iPhone to pair with the tv. The apps don’t work . Since we have a toddler, we don’t have an entertainment system to put a laptop on to connect with hdmi. I need to get Apple TV or something to try and pair my phone.

@diagnostic hmm in theory you should just be able to pop it on as soon as they are connected to each other. Lol I actually think the smart tv we got rid of was an LG because it was giving me horrible issues connecting (I use it as my monitor while I’m working). Now I have to ask my husband.

I’ve done Beachbody in the past and I really like the programs. Currently I’m doing Les Mills on demand and I love it! Les Mills has a great variety and the music is great where Beachbody has the instructor talking throughout the session. I also like that Les Mills is solely fitness, no supplements are mentioned.

I love beach body on demand. So much that I became a coach. I just became one though. It is so worth the $99 a year to me. For the connivence of working out at home when I want and around my schedule. Plus my coaching group of ladies are crazy helpful.

Just use workout apps that are free and save the money. Get good music or free zumba classes instead. Don't waste money. I did beachbody and it's hard to keep up with. Very good program though but save the money when you can use other resources.
