Can anyone advise how I can whiten/clean vertical blinds please? I don’t know if they’re machine washable because they were here when I moved here

I was sick of keep washing mine with the cats on the windows so I painted mine x In the bath with soda crystals or sugar soap in hot water fantastic cleaner for grease and grime , be careful putting in the washer they can fray x

Lay them in the bath. Swiss about then hang them back up to dry. Remove weights and chains first xx

Yes put in the bath i put a bit of washing liquid in with mine

Depends how dirty . I tend to get my boyfriend to take them down put them on the floor and wipe with hot soapy water xx

I’ve literally just taken mine out of the washing machine! First time I’ve tried it. Worked really well on a delicate wash xx

I’ve washed mine in the washing machine several times and they’ve been ok. It is recommended to roll them up and put an elastic band around them or I’d say roll them and put them inside socks x

I did mine at the weekend in the bath with washing powder with the weights and chains. Put them between 2 towels to soak off the excess and put them back up wet. They came and clean and perfectly straight

Take chains and weights off. Roll them up and put into a pillow case. Wash in the washing machine. Hang straight back up.

I also did mine in the washing machine rolled up with elastic band tied at the top of the pillow case i lo put Detergent into the pillowcase with some Softener inside aswell remember to do it on a delicate or woollen wash I also just put the chains and wieght soaling in the sink with some Elbow grease hang up straigjt away but if they come out cresed just give the a quick iron but beat to hang them up Wet Good luck

I loosely rolled mine up in a pillow case knotted and put them on a 30 minute cycle. Hung them back up damp. Came out lovely
