Machine wash, scrub in the bathtub, baby bath washing up liquid napisan whatever I’ve got to hand lol, it all comes up clean. Wouldn’t recommend dettol all in one spray it stinks

@baloney yep your right would think Dettol would get right up the kids noses and not good if it's in their mouth.

I washed all mine with napisan in the washing machine ! Ones that I can’t wash if battery’s in I’d do Milton and cold water in a bucket and have a cloth dampen it and wipe them all over x

I just stuck them in with non bio on a 60⁰ wash. I never used extra chemicals etc because they all ended up in his mouth. Hard toys I used to run through the dishwasher

If they are dirty place in cool wash so colours don't run. If not dirty place in plastic back and place in freezer overnight. All bugs dead. My husband and little girl have asthma so the bottom drawer of the freezer always has something in there. Pillows. Gloves toys. X

No, 4 kids & ive never sterilised there cuddly toys (or plastic for that matter)if they were dirty & needed cleaning they would go in the machine but that only happened once or twice, kids are now 19, 10, 8 & 20 months x

Just stick them in a wash on a regular cycle. If plastic just wipe down

When it’s dirty chuck in in the washing machine meanwhile let them suck it, play with it and don’t worry. Remember there is nothing sterile about a person’s mouth. As long as it hasn’t been near a pooy nappy it’s fine.
