Don’t wash your towels with fabric conditioner. I’ve always washed with white vinegar and detergent (fabric conditioner blocks the fibres) xx

I washed my bedding and a few towels (all white) using a cup of white vinegar in wash last week - along with detergent pod and conditioner - and I could still smell the vinegar when the wash was done. Any advice would be welcome please.

hey, have you use white vinegar as in the star drops stuff? Not the stuff from the food aisle? I use proper cleaning white vinegar (79p a bottle at home bargains) and I can’t smell the vinegar on the towels or clothes. I use it on my OHs work uniform too The stuff in the food aisle is ok to use when actually cleaning but I find the scent a lot stronger than the cleaning white vinegar xx

it really does stink! Not too sure why you can still smell it, I can’t smell it on any of my things and I don’t use fabric conditioner alongside it! Very confused.
