Has anyone got tips for cleaning cuddly baby toys that also play music and can’t go in washing machine? I’ve taken a baby wipe to it but it’s made no difference x

Put them in a freezer bag & add bicarbonate of soda. Ensure bag is sealed tight, and shake /tumble the bag so that the powder comes into contact with all surfaces of the soft toy. Leave in bag for half an hour. Then remove, and hoover any powder off the roy. (This removes any smells ) Don’t breathe in the powder when you open the bag. In a new freezer/carrier leave them in the freezer for 48 hours. ( This will kill any germs) Then make up a warm soapy solution & using a damp cloth, rub all over the toy to remove any marks or food etc stuck to the toy. Leave to air dry on radiator or in airing cupboard. Brush the fur when it’s dry to bring it back to its former fluffy state.

You could try the dry cleaner for carpets as wont soak it completely.

Ive always put a little wash powder, some oxi stuff and a drop of fabric conditioner in a bowl, mix and then just scrub with a scourer. My boys have the 'scout' teddies and works perfect on them,

I use a nail brush, bit of washing up liquid in a bowl, foam it up and use mainly the foam so it doesn't get too wet and scrub, then try with a towel

I use diluted Milton on a damp cloth and wipe clean. Leave to dry. Simple and easy!
