Don’t do any thing with vinegar and soda crystals this is mine! Thankfully I bought a Dr Becknam washer cleaner from Lidl and it’s back to new- so I’d recommend them

@varipapa I used white vinegar to clean my drum and then used soda crystals on a 90 wash for hour and half and mine come out really good

Some people have been using dishwasher tablets and say the muck that comes out is mad

@kant203 I used the Dettol machine wash , and then did the dishwasher tablet, I’ve left the door open and drawer open to air, I’ll see what it’s like in the morning ! Thanks !

Detol washing machine cleaner the lemon one  use some of the solution on a cloth an wipe seal and door and then soak the draw in some warm water abput 30mls in a bowl and clean out and clean inside where the draw was too. then put the draw back and pour rest of solution in the draw and put on 90 wash leave. your washing machine smelling lovely xx Please keep away from the dishwasher tablet hack tho as ive heard of 6 Washing machines breaking due to this hack as it clogs up the pipes and make your washing machine even smell worse :/ x

Dishwasher tablets - put them in the drawer and put on the warmest wash. Then use Detol washing machine cleaner for door and rubber seals and then do a wash with the Detol cleaner to make it smell nice!

Why oh why do people insist on using bleach, it will wreck the seal on the machine. Just go to the supermarket and buy a proper washing machine cleaner.

I just put mine on a hot wash monthly (when I remember), my hottest setting is 95, I don't use any vinegar or washing machine cleaner. I also empty the filter every 6 months. I leave the machine open after every wash, never had any problems with the seal. Machine is 10+ years old

⭐️ UPDATE ⭐️ Think I’ve cracked it ! Used the dettol lemon cleaner on a 60 wash , then dish washer tablet on a 60 wash, still smelly , cleaned the filter & drawer . then a Tesco limescale etc tablet on 60 , a big skoosh of bleach on a long 90, did smell better after that ! And put a big skooosh of bleach down my sink overnight. But just for good measure I did a Dr Becker service deep clean on 60 . . and now I have got washing on again ! Yay ! Thanks for all the advice guys , I appreciate it ! x
