Original 60s glass in front door. The previous owner did a really bad paint job and has got gloss paint all over it  some of it is scratching off but the big bits are really stubborn - any ideas what’s the safest way to remove? It looks terrible

We had same problem, came straight off with very hot water & the green side of 1 of those yellow & green scourer sponges !

I had a similar problem and nail polish remover did the job
