How can I get gloss out of grey carpet?

I had a tin of gloss kicked over on my stairs, I got my rug doctor on it wile it was still wet and luckily managed to lift/suck up all the paint, come up like it was never there. I personally wouldnt rub it tho, it will work it into the fibers. Try pick off as much as possible. Good luck x

Test a bit wiv white spirit to see if carpets ok if yes give that a go on a cloth iv done it before but my carpet was treated for bleach resistance ect

If it’s a water based gloss, try hot soapy water on the edge of a cloth

If it's still wet, boiling water and washing up liquid and gently rub. I glossed my stairs and my darling daughter trod it through my black carpet

Let it dry and use sandpaper on it

If its quick drying gloss it will be water based so will clean up with hot soapy water but if it's oil based you will need white spirit
