Can anyone recommend a decent hand held hoover for the house please? Thank you

100% this one. Best thing I've ever bought for the house. Haven't found any that have powerful suction like this does, and the battery life is fantastic, I've done every room in my 3 bed house plus the stairs before now and the battery hasn't ran out. It comes with a stair tool and a crevice tool, you'll never use anything else on the stairs again

@clump4 just looking at the reviews and it says it only had 10 mins charge. Are you very quick with your hoovering or do you have the two battery model? Thanks!

@depressed74 just looked on my receipt it's the single battery one I can do all the stairs and a house worth of edges and small bits pick up all on a charge, obviously with a hand held you wouldn't be hoovering full carpets, I have my bosch cordless for that. Id say I get at least 15 mins use of it each time, I use it daily and it never runs out on me

@depressed74 yeah they do you're right Ive been through a lot of handhelds and I've always had issues with them, but I have no issues whatsoever with this one apart from that I wish I'd bought it sooner, and the charging station is very neat too. I'm very fussy with cleaning products and I use it a LOT so for me it has to be good

Gtech . they aren't cheap, but I found it by far the best in suction and battery life .

Second gtech. Never found one to beat it. Not the cheapest but the best. I have one that's a stick as well as handheld cordless.

@gunk7701 possibly, but Hoover is a brand of vacuum cleaner. It would be better to ask "what's the best handheld vacuum cleaner" when asking which handheld vacuum cleaner is best. After all, you can't "Hoover" with a Dyson, but you can vacuum clean with both

I use a shark as above but I only use it on tiled floor and laminate and sofa crumbs cos it's a pile of shite for anything else.  battery doesn't last long either I find 10 mins if that
