I have a Shark Lift Away upright vacuum cleaner which is great for a big clean but I'm wanting something smaller, lighter and less faff to get in and out to do everyday whip rounds as I have a baby and a cat. But I can't decide between the Dyson V7 animal or the SHARK Anti Hair Wrap Flexology IZ201UK. Any recommendations?

Best thing I've ever bought Also have the shark cordless handheld for the smaller jobs like corners and stairs which is brilliant. I don't even use my big hoover any more

The anti hair wrap is amazing, but still quite heavily.

If you’re wanting light weight I’d go for the dyson. I got rid of my shark as I found it too heavy and have gone back to my dyson cordless

If your wanting something that actually sucks up anything I wouldn't go for a dyson  i sold my v10 after 18 months and got a shark cos dyson was constantly blocked so mainly used a dust pan instead xx

I have a Lift Away and a V7 and although I prefer the Shark, the Dyson is ideal for everyday cleaning.

@faustino I have the shark corded and found it brilliant but heavy so thought I would get the cordless, well it is lightweight but rubbish at sucking up. I got rid of the box or I would have taken it back

I have just got a Swan cordless as well as my sharkvacume and I am so impressed that it actually picks up the dog hair. It cost £119 with a discount code and I think I'm in love

Thank you all for your help. I think im going to go for the Dyson but keep the box so that if it's awful I'll get the shark ‍♀️
