Any suggestions on how to clean car seats? They're not heavily stained but they're just aged / worn. Tempted to buy a bissell etc, but if there's a budget clean up then I'm all ears. Thanks.

Should have been more clear, the driver and passenger seats is what I meant.

@devilry washing up liquid and a sponge or a stream cleaner work well then!

Spray with laundry detergent, scrub and vacuum. Don't forget to leave a bit of the windows open!

If you have the time and patience then use elbow grease, I saw someone on here use it to clean car upholstery, the difference was UNBELIEVABLE, they sprayed it and then rubbed and rinsed well with a warm damp cloth

Try putting shaving foam on, spread evenly over but enough to cover completely, leave for at least half an hour. If you have a brush attachment for your steam cleaner use that, if not wipe with a clean damp cloth to remove excess foam. Difficult stains may need a 2nd go. This may be enough, if not have a go with steam cleaner but try not to get it too wet! I suppose you could dry it off with a hairdryer but I’ve never done that.

We bought a car for our teenagers to learn on. Seats etc were grubby so had car valeted. Brilliant job but stains in seats started to reappear so I’d recommend covers
