Sounds like your water is hard, I use soda crystals in my wash and my clothes are so much softer and smell nicer, it's only 89p for a kilo in home bargins x

definitely! That's how ours are I put a scoop in the drum and a scoop mixed in with my powder, I've found that liquids make the problem sooo much worse too, so I don't use pods or laundry gel either! My washing was going in smelling cleaner than when it come out

Also my mum lives in a hard water area and she puts her powder in the drum because it stops it clogging in the pipe, the water apparently doesn't dissolve things easy if it's hard so tends to stick in pipes

no sadly not, Manchester for us although I do love it there to be fair also, I found that when I was going way to ott with the fabric conditioner I was getting waxy feeling! I'm not sure if you do that but it could be a cause of that! I used to fill the compartment and now I only do 2 caps full and it has made a difference, I only found this out by accident because I had to reduce the amount I was putting in because my washing smelt that strong that I started coughing (pre covid by the way)

haha love the fact that any type of cough or fever you have to specify if it was before covid or not. I’ll half the fabric softener, I thought it’s because my husband is still at work so I’m washing his clothes daily. I’d love to visit Manchester, I have family in Bolton and Preston. X

Is it a condenser dryer? There’s 2 filters in these. The 2nd one is often unknown so not cleaned and often leaves clothes smelling Unfresh.
