Hi I hope somebody can help I live in a hard water area Limescale cleaners multiple products tried what can I try next? I also need advice on how to remove yellowing from the underside of the toilet seat neat and dilute bleach not working Thank you in hope! Susan

You can't remove the yellowing. It's caused by bleach. Get a new seat and don't use bleach on it and it will stay white. Clean with tea tree, lemon, and/or white vinegar. Limescale is a nightmare. You can only really keep it at bay. I used distilled water in my iron and a kettle catcher (like a wire ball) in the kettle. I'd use white vinegar (and 10 drops of essential oils) in the washing machine to help keep it at bay - this acts as a softener and will break down the limescale. I'd do a limescale treatment on everything first before you implement new things so that you're starting with the least amount of build-up possible

Cheap coke a cola works really well I seen it on a cleaning program and tried it I do it weekly the likes of Tesco own brand 20 something pence a bottle works on toilet I haven’t tried it on other things yet

Cillit bang limescale is really good

If you can get hold of it. Jangro acidic toilet cleaner just melts the limescale! Will also remove that yellow

I used the pink stuff on mine and an antibacterial wipe. Came up as good as new

If it doesn’t budge . Perhaps buy new toilet seat . Some funky ones out there x
