So does the tooth fairy leave a note for the first tooth or just money? I think we’re doing $10 for the first tooth, but after that we’ll scale back. My son lost his first tooth tonight and he’s 5 1/2. So exciting and emotional!

Tooth fairy does whatever you want. Keep it simple. You’ll thank yourself later

We left a note the first time and came up with a silly name for our tooth fairy’s name.

I had to leave a note apologizing to my son (he’s now 18) because the tooth fairy kept forgetting! She finally left a note on Monday saying she didn’t work weekends I only do 4 quarters ♀️ they like coins! I’ve now got two littles again so we will see how long the tooth fairy makes it this time!

Yeah if you want to. But then you will probably need to write a note each time.

We did this for just his 1st tooth. He was so excited. Definitely an emotional moment. Mine lost his at the Valentine’s Day party at school. He came to the car at pickup and I almost burst in to tears! ♀️

I'm with you! My kids write noyes to the tooth fairy that go with their tooth. Then i have to write back. In my defense, my daughter started it by writing to the stinking fairy ♀️ in the first place!

Whatever you do, make sure you're able to replicate anytime, anywhere. My kids ALWAYS lose them when we are camping or out of town.

I give a $2. 00 bill or dollar coin and draw a picture on a sticky note that looks a little like this (the happy one).

Our son lost his first one at school and couldn't find it to bring home. He was distraught, so the tooth fairy left him a nice note and $5 that said she heard he lost if not to worry, but next time to please try to leave her one.
