Running on the assumption that zoos and major attractions won't be opened at all for some time, what are your favorite local farms to visit with animals? My toddler (16mo) is obsessed with animals and I'm hoping to take her to see some later this summer. Maybe even an animal sanctuary? I'm not a big fan of petting zoos on principal and she's kind of young to trust touching, more just for her to look and see them up close.

I’m hoping the zoos will follow what other places have done and do “members only”  Wagner Farm in Glenview is cute and small, but you can see the animals and it’s not advised for you to touch them. I will say, I’m not sure they’re “open” for visitors.

@whelp4426 lol we are not members, although maybe we are if we have a corporate deal? I'll check out Wagner once things start opening.

@whelp4426 what they are doing outside sounds awesome! We love going there and typically frequent it weekly even in winter!

@swords it’s a perfect little getaway for a little bit, and it’s never too busy.

Kline Creek Farm in Carol Stream doesn’t have much but it’s free and has a nice walking path!
