Question

Not sure if this is allowed, if not I apologise: My husband and I need to rehome our dog for a temporary period of time and pretty quickly. We aren't entirely sure how long. But we are in the process of moving and really need someone who will be able to take her in for a while. Does anyone know of any groups or anything that can help? She's a female St. Bernard, she's maybe 100lbs but I'm bad with weight. She's a little over a year

Try reaching out to Playtime pup ranch in Des Plaines maybe they can recommend a place or group. There is also a wonderful organization Garrido Stray Rescue foundation (look them up they are on FB) maybe they could offer some ideas.

Do you have a picture of her? How long are you thinking that you need a place for her? Where does she sleep at night? Does she walk well on a leash?

Have you checked with your Veterinarian’s office? Maybe one of the Vet Techs or office workers could take her or know somebody. Would you like me to share your post with some of my dog groups? She’s beautiful.
