We had my fathers 80th at the Continental in Buffalo Grove and it was wonderful! Classy, amazing staff and it definitely didn’t break the bank. They have a separate banquet room adjacent to the restaurant.

Floryan Banquets has a great chef and is pretty much brand new- the atmosphere has a very european vibe to it. It's on the corner of Elmhurst and Oakton.

Little Villa has an awesome private room my cousins threw my Aunt and Uncle a nice surprise Anniversary Party there. Giacomos I heard has a nice private room as well. Rose Garden Cafe in Elk Grove mentioned above great food and I heard before private room nice, Grazianos on Touhy in Niles has an awesome private room and wonderful food, as does Moretti’s in Edison Park.
