Hi everyone! Looking for a Parish that is more lenient with requirements for God parents.Hi everyone! Looking for a Parish that is more lenient with requirements for God parents. Here is the situation: One of the God-parents was not born in this country and so they were baptized out of the country. The other God-parent was baptized, first communion, confirmation. They also were not married by the catholic church but have been married 15+ years. Is there any Parishes that would consider baptizing and appointing the God-parents in this situation?
