Laundry question!  Recently my shady washing machine keeps leaving all my clothes completely drenched in water and I have to spend 15 min manually rinsing everything out, which gets cumbersome given the number of loads that need to get done daily.Laundry question! I have always set it to “permanent press”. Any ideas?

I've always used the ultra clean setting. Also you can try to just run the spin cycle again

Permanent Press is for clothes that are probably not cotton based. More for polyester, or other synthetic fabrics, that do not hold onto water like cotton would so the spin cycle is short. You don't want to overspin these materials as you "could" damage them. You can re-do a spin cycle like @wyler5845 mentions above to get more water out.

If it’s stopping before the second spin cycle, it could be it’s off balance and turning itself off before it’s done getting all the water out. Ours would do that, and it was pretty simple to adjust the legs.

@rodie This is what was occurring with our washing machine to when we were having a similar issue. After we adjusted the legs, it still occurs but a lot less frequently.

We had this as well and i called the repair guy. He told me to leave it unplugged over night. If that didn't fix it, he would come out. I did it and it worked. Haven't had a issue since.

Is it spinning? Our old one used to do the same thing, figured out it wasn't spinning or spinning too slow. We replaced a part but that only lasted a few months until it did it again. We had to replace it.
