Question

Granted, Elk Grove gets a lot of revenue from the industrial park, but does anyone know if Des Plaines is doing anything for us?

No they aren’t. they took years to give us the free vehicle stickers they promised to get us to agree to the casino.

The only thing the Mayor has told us is how he's not doing anything so we don't get confused.

City of Des Plaines Government there’s a lot of residents out of work. Is the city planning on doing anything at all to help? I mean, a lot of us have nothing but time on our hands right now.

I am glad they use the Casino money for capital and infrastructure and not the operating budget. If there is a big downturn, Elk Grove will be worse off I think. I hope it works out for them, it will take years to know.

Wished I still lived in Rosemont as they would pay my condo prop tax, most of the yearly total assessment, give me a garden plot by Allstate arena and a few other perks too. Hopefully I’ll buy a property there in the future either at Executive Estates or Glenlake. At least I work across the street from there now.
