I tried this on my personal page and there were only a couple people I haven't heard of, from people's suggestions. Better shot here: What are some bands/artists you feel like deserve knowing and many don't. Me? •Nathanial Rateliff and/or Nathanial Rateliff and The Night Sweats •Kaleo •Anderson East •Yola •Alabama Shakes •The Highwomen • Sonia Kilo I stay up on the weekends and listen to music. Any recommendations are much appreciated.

I love Nathaniel Rateliff! Saw him live a few years ago and he was phenomenal. I know you said The Highwomen but I want to point out that Brandi Carlile is, by far, the best vocalist there. In fact, I think she sounds better live!

He puts a tickle in my lady pickle! Honestly, I became a big fan after he opened for Kings of Leon. I knew SOB, but he was better than KOL and I wanted him to sing more. Yes! I love Brandi. She's never put out a bad song.

@jawbreaker31 We were probably at the same show! July 2017?

@albedo, yes ma'am. I had to look up a picture I was tagged in from the concert, to check. It was a good concert, but he was much better than KOL. Nathanial was just here, right before this all started. Wanted to go, but those tickets were crazy priced. He seems like a good time to hang out with.

The Struts, I have seen them twice and their shows are so fun. Their music is a great mix. Picture a more pop version of Queen.

I think. I think I've heard them before. Added to my list, I thank you.

Blue October. You will find it all in their music/ lyrics. Depends what album you will choose to listen, from a very dark side to a happy one.

@sholes1038 Blue October is one of my favorite bands! I saw them live many times going back to 2001 in Houston.

I've heard Blue October. They used to be my jam in high school. I'll check out all their stuff.

I'm really digging The Head and The Heart. They come up on my Spotify a lot. I've added a lot of their songs to my liked list.

Rafferty. Stumbled across him looking for music for my cycle classes. He doesn’t have a TON, but it’s sooooo good. Woodkid. “Run Boy Run” is so great.
