Anyone take the plunge and get the willow pump? If so, what are your thoughts on it? Likes/dislikes? Could others hear that you were pumping?

This is a great group to join. I have heard great things about it. But if you are an over producer it might not be good for you. It’s also not discreet looking. You can 100% tell you’re pumping. One mom posted a picture and it was funny looking

@stelle2633 thanks! I’ll check it out. I’m unfortunately not an over producer  but with this being my 3rd I’d like to try to be more successful. I know it’s hard work but want to figure out how to last longer and decrease the stress in worrying about producing enough.

@unwisdom that Group will truly help you. With my daughter I wanted to try so hard to be successful with nursing since I’m an under producer. The group helped me so much that we are going on 26 months! Please reach out if you have any questions of need support!

@stelle2633 that is amazing! Congrats! I feel embarrassed to say I only lasted 6 months! And had to supplement by 4 . I just requested to join. Excited to see how they can help. Any big tips that made a huge difference for you?

@unwisdom don’t be embarrassed! With my son I only lasted 2 or 3 months. There is nothing wrong with supplementing! Fed is best.

@unwisdom honestly the biggest thing that helped me this time around was my faith. On the hard days I would pray for guidance and help with my frustration, anxiety and sometimes anger. and on the easy days I would thank him. It helped clear my thoughts and take away the stress and anxiety which in turn helped me relax my body to produce enough for her. I did use donor milk because once I went back to work I simply couldn’t pump enough, but I kept pumping to keep my supply regulated and nursed when home.

A friend has it a loves it. With that said shes never used any other pump so she doesnt know any other comparison. I think it's good to have atleast 2 because sometimes your body can stop responding to one pump. Or motors can get weaker and reduce your supply. The Willow would be for occasional discreet pumping if that's what you needed it for.

My best friend loved her Willow. Gifted it to me with my second. I’ve never used it. Her only complaint was that the bags are expensive, don’t hold much and had no generic equivalents. She loved the pump though.
