You have to ask the school district for permission and there needs to be good reason. My friend was able to get permission but she fought and told them she needed to move her child for her parents to help her more. Not sure if your situation is similar.

They usually don’t let you decide. YEARS ago you could petition, but that hasn’t been in option in a long time (from what I understand)

You need approval. Check the d62 6website. Or call Dr. Hertel or school and they will let you know how the process works.

You can petition. It’s called permissive transfer. You can email a letter stating your reasons and email it to, Marget. Her email is goodchildm@d62. org. You have until the end of May
