Question

Any one have a good DIY method of getting rid of those annoying shrub weeds? I legit have a million.

@tensimeter75 I want to just hack them all down but that won’t do much. I pulled out a ton of regular weeds the last few days in my front yard. Still have a side to do (thankfully much smaller). I plan to mulch after all that but some of these things are like legit trees. I spent 45 minutes digging one out today. That clearly isn’t the answer.

@ironic we have a combo. Creeping Charlie is all over the yard, then we have those tree/bush like suckers and they are so rooted they won't die either. A few are along our neighbors chain link and we don't want to damage the fence, but they literally grew right under it and up both sides. I think the roots go down multiple feet and even root killer didn't work

I keep digging them up. They seem to multiply faster than I can blink. I turn around and there's 2 more!
