Hi Expert Comrades, A qus relating to FB Pixel Installation: . I have a client who runs a large F&B company with many branches. But we're only promoting for branch B, which uses say website B, which is a huge website on its own. Website B can be accessed via their main website. My qus is this, to which url should the pixel be installed under? Main website or website B: a) Main Website, since its linked b) Website B c) Either, doesn't make any difference d) Both e) None of the above, then what? . Qus for pixel installation expert here, thanks!

It depends how different the branches and brands are - but the safe approach would be to have a unique Pixel for branch B and only install it on branch B website. The Pixel is all about your audience, so if the master website and other branches have different audiences then probably best to keep them separate

You can always create a “master” pixel for the main website and all the branch websites to capture the totality of the audience

Thanks, how do I create 2 pixels from 1 ad account? Is that do-able or I need to resort to creating 2 diff ad accounts in order to have 2 pixels?

@enneahedron you'd need (and probably just want to have) 2 separate Ad Accounts and Pixels. If each of the branches is a separate brand with its own website and audience, I'd recommend each having its own Ad Account and Pixel.

Likewise, if you have access to install the pixel on the master site AND the master site is really just a gateway to all the sub-sites AND there is 100% relevance among/between them, then I would install the pixel on the master to have access to the larger pixel data flow.

With the main sticking point being the "100% relevance" - my guess is if the main website is a house of brands, there is likely a lot of comingling of brand audiences. That's why I think it would be best to have a specific "Brand B" pixel on that website, and then a 2nd master Pixel that goes on the main website and all sub-brand websites to capture the total traffic/volume
