Who has experiencing taking an ecomm brand from $1M to $5M to $10M+? I keep seeing @anesthetize name come up. Who should I be speaking to? My team and I have several ecommerce brands in the hemp and cbd space. Some are doing $1M yearly, but have run into challenges scaling to the next level.

I did exactly this taking ecom from sub £1m to £13m, for two years at 11x return. What do you want to know? It was a different market but the final year was with CBO, I think was one of the first to use it and got lucky that it suited my build style.

Though I also hated it because it was funky for changing budgets initially.

MuteSix has a CBD department. We've scaled a few CBD brands already to point you're looking at even with all the regulation on platforms. With CBD you really need a partner who's figured out how to navigate the terms of service in a delicate way. Reach out if you'd like to learn more.

Shackelford is a beast with scaling FB ads but having an e-commerce strategy you can scale is a lot more important that the media buying. Commerce is bigger than media buying. Most of the time when you’re having scaling issues it’s more of a challenge or bottleneck with your commerce strategy. It’s something Shack and I spoke about a couple weeks ago. It goes like this: Commerce > Customer Acquisition > Digital Marketing > Media Buying. Mastering all of those is what’s required to scale from $1M to $10M. I operate an e-commerce portfolio and we’re in the trenches building $10M+ brands using a multi-channel (true commerce) strategy. Most of the time when ads don’t scale, it’s a commerce road block or bottleneck.

The scaling is not a matter of skill or gnosis, its a matter of bureaucracy thats why you at the wall, that or you're not harnessing the list.

Funding and joint venture partners and the utilization of every possible traffic source besides social media, Facebook and Google, utilization of CPA networks, tapping into everything literally growing your team, increasing customer service is HUGE that's literally all amazon does and surrounds themselves with everything the biggest commerce giant does it based around improving customer service as its core, I've built out my own much smaller scales of amazons prime for my customers and its worked and increased and grew businesses exponentially single-handedly, offering 1-2 day shipping, pre custom packaging, handwritten notes, calling your customers after they receive your high ticket products ask them how they like it, etc, increasing your distribution channels, having multiple exclusivity agreements with influencers like fashion nova does have exclusivity agreements with your team unless you want to take them all in house, hire a board advisory, get funding, you'll need funding to scale big. negotiate your prices your COG's open warehouses to increase your shipping times, expand into other countries outside the US and put up distribution and fullfilment centers in those countries, grow them, open offices there if you wish, expand your team, even more, joint ventures and strategic alliances are huge, I dont know if you have your own product or are getting it from a manufacturer, ive purchased my own manufacturing business to get my costs lowered in the past I learned how to do that through a $5k course called business buying accelerator if anyone wants to know how thats possibe, that way ive had total control over my supply chain, you dont have to rely on other people, you can call big retailers and get your products in there, and I could go on and on, thats how you can scale a business to $10M+ $100M ecommerce business, you have to be everywhere, you can also grow in the CBD niche by aquring and buying other businesses in the niche and adding them to your CBD ecommerce empire to grow and increase your market share to become a big player in the space years down the road in this growing industry and that way also youll have alot of money in the future for M&A to buy the smaller fish and keep adding and adding and eating and eating become a big corporation, go public and get even more money and just keep growing and growing
