You licensed to do those? Disney is pretty hard about their licensing.

What does Google Trends tell you people are shopping for? I would say you’re not having much success due to not understanding buyer intent. People aren’t necessarily searching for ‘baby yoda’ on Google to buy products, but if you put it in their face via Facebook or social ads, people are more likely to go ‘oh cool, I didn’t know this existed, I’ll check it out and potentially buy’. Without knowing the full story, you’d be much better going down that avenue than waiting for passive searches which is the trap I feel you’re currently in.

@curable9186 baby yoda and the child are very popular search terms I had to actually turn off those term because they were costing so much with no results earlier this year. I need help targeting to shoppers. I need to hire someone that has experience as mine is limited.

What I meant is ‘intent’. I’m sure they’re popular terms but not for ‘buy’ ‘shop’ etc. Which is why you had the results you experienced. Just because people are searching for those terms, doesn’t mean they have any interest in buying anything, let alone a toy. You’re much better off on social and running campaigns to people who like toys or have a propensity to spend online. What budget are you running?

Not enough for sure but I need to find the right ad set up. As I tried a higher test earlier this year and it did not go well.

@curable9186 these are selling well through social media right now but I would like to expand through paid ads.

Have you run paid ads on social or just organic? What I’m saying is that the PPC channel might not be your best strategy based on budget and buyer’s intent. You’ve just backed up my thoughts with the social media comment as well.

@zygospore if Facebook ads are working then double down on that. If you can’t get the results your after with the channel that gives you the most results then there is an other issue at play. Also people would probably like to see the actual item as apposed to a drawing of it. Maybe get some professional photography done and lifestyle images that go with it you can put on your website and social media channels.

The items are presale as is popular in this field. So no photography is available at this point.

Some recommendations for running Facebook ads. 1. It's crucial you install your Facebook Pixel onto your site, any web visitors you get you can target them with an ad on Facebook (which currently you can't do). 2. Create a Facebook product catalog and run Catalog Sale ads (you can target people that viewed or added a specific product to the cart but did not purchase! ). 3. Create custom audiences and target them with relevant ads that will get their attention. - Web visitors - Email list - Facebook & IG engaged audiences If you don't have any web traffic or emails already then these audiences may be to small and you will need to look into cold audience targetting based on interests. For example, make an add with all you star wares products and target people that like star wars and yoda for example. Hope this helps
