@delighted94 doesn't sound like you need a lot of power then. Basically any modern laptop you get today will be able to do that. Choose a brand you like and go for it, they're pretty much all the same today

If you're not using any graphics/video softeare like Adobe and predominantly just FB manager excel etc. Get a i5 or above. Or ryzen equivalent. For graphic card, I think they will recommend a lowe one. AMD works I guess if you're on a budget. Have at least 8GB. You should add more if you have a lot of chrome tabs open all the time. Mix of SSD and HDD. But that's just me

$700-$850 range at costco so you can return it for practically any reason. They have i7's with 16gb RAM and 2-4gb video cards in that range. Usually it's a dell or HP. Best value you'll find with a great warranty and return policy.

If it’s just something for ads and internet browsing, the only spec that matters is RAM. Get anything with 16GB of RAM and you’ll be good!
