Can I add someone to my business manager as an admin without giving him the ability to remove me?

If you created the BM, no one can.

I thought the same so I tested it and it's not true. They can lower creator access.

@miki in my experience, in Facebooks eyes, if you are the creator and admin then you can never be removed from the account and Facebook will happily reinstate you if your access is lowered.

Every admin has equal access to and the same abilities as the other admins. If you add someone with admin access they can remove your access. I would grant people access to assets that way you don't run the risk of them messing up your admin role.

If you don't have trust in them, don't work with them. Trust goes both ways and it seems to be lacking

You can't but sometimes other roles don't give users access/permission to everything they may need.
