Hey guys I have a question. I ran an FB ads for 2 weeks and it told me around 75% people who clicked are male. However when I look at Google Analytics, it showed me the people that came from FB ads are 51% female/ 49% male. Did I miss anything or how do you make your decision given this situation?

Don't worry about clicks, worry about conversions. If you want to segment then go ahead, set to male & female adsets and see which gets you a higher ROAS. But, if you only got 300 clicks in 2 weeks you are going to have trouble making any kind of decision on segmentation.

Also another question: between these two situations: I am selling bluelight glasses Copy A: target “gaming” (lower relevancy), 0. 10/ click 100 clicks Copy B: target “glasses” (higher relevancy), $0. 15/ click 200 clicks Which one should I take as winning ads?

Unless you have you have put some serious time and money into quantitative research on market segmentation, I honestly wouldn’t worry about what the demographic breakdown looks like.

What exactly are you trying to figure out here, whether to narrow down targeting to males or females?

@deodar Yes sir. But then, isn’t the difference way too significant?

@reversible517 yea that would be more of a technical issue between facebooks data and GA. It’s actually pretty common, even to the point where FB’s outbound click is nowhere near GA’s session. I wouldn’t get stuck in trying to figure that out.
