Question

Remove if not allowed, not sure if this is a grey zone or not. Anyhows. is there a way for me to get my or an alternative facebook account to "be located in" USA? The reason for this is that I want to be targeted by ecom/dropshipping ads and 90% of them target USA. I live in Sweden which is rarely targeted which makes it difficult to look for products or competitors. Thanks!

They use their, legit, Facebook account with VPN. That’s ok. If you create a new account it may be a problem.

@antipyrine always use a residential IP. Or get a spytool to see what your competitors are doing. Or hire someone on fiverr to do daily reporting for you. They can use their own US FB account, saves a lot of hassle.

@fokker47222 Spytool would not work as Im looking to get targeted my ads to get ideas for products. Fiverr isnt a bad idea tbh

You don't need to do this. Just go to the Facebook Ads Library and you'll see in real time, the ads that are being run by your competitors

@pectoralis Thanks for the suggestion however I sort of want to Do it the other way around. Find competitors/products by engaging with ads. Lets pretend I have a store in the cat niche. I engage with a bunch of cat related posts and pages and eventually Id be targeted by cat shop owners and Id see What products They advertise.
