My idea it's only show the ads to the audiences what I selected, avoiding google expand to new audiences

Thats fine but google will show ads on devices and platforms that waste money (apps and youtube).

Has anyone had great experiences with display so far?

@sargassum I primarily use Display Network. Amazing it has been.

@minacious so no retargeting just pure display? Which industry/product?

@sargassum For a client I was using pure display for prospecting and purchase. Beauty Niche. Got 8. 5k sales in 2019 through only display with an ROAS of 470%. Didn’t set up retargeting until much later. 80% of the conversions came from the prospecting campaign. The landing page also was designed in a way so that the user takes action immediately.
