Need help please.  Shopping campaign did well for a week , then it collapsed!Need help please. Shopping campaign did well for a week , then it collapsed! Nothing got changed on the campaigns nor on the landing page. Impressions and clicks are the same volume but Conversion sucks. Does google get inconsistent in finding good buyers? I am into the habit to get rid of the non related - non working search terms every morning . Am I messing it up with constant tweaking?

"am I messing it up with constant tweaking" Yes. Yes. Yes.  It can only become smart if you give it time to learn and adapt. Usually I don't touch the campaigns for a week. I only keep adding the negatives. Also, if you can rule out that bidding wasn't the cause, why haven't you checked for your competition? How do your products show up? What search term did well and now doesn't? Replicate the search in ad preview. Look at price differences etc. Makes sense?

@blum44 the constant tweaking I meant is removing unrelated Search terms every day. I hope this is not hurting the algorithm. I first started W Max Clicks for a week then switched to ECPC that did well for almost 2 weeks before it stopped performing then I switched it to Target Roas ( I have gotten almost 50 conversions) but I haven’t seen better results with this switch. And my top competitors prices are pretty much the same . The winning search terms are numerous and they are mostly long tail ones / one time conversion.

Which bidding strategy

@triton ECPC, and I have changed it to Target Roas hopping to revive it a bit . I have ended up getting higher CPC instead. Campaign standard shopping .

Unfortunately yes, you’re making changes probably to often and screwing up Google’s data collection and bidding algorithms. What kind of “tweaks” are you making?

@superheat2447 just getting rid of the unwanted search terms every morning.

Getting rid of the unwanted search terms every morning can distract Google's data collection and bidding algorithms or it will help algorithm to generate more realistic results?
