Hi, My GIF Display ads got disapproved after running for over a year. message says: "The following is not allowed: Animations that last longer than 30 seconds Note: Shorter animations can loop or repeat, but must stop after 30 seconds. HD animated gifs are no longer supported in Google Ads" when looking into allowed formats it says GIF is fine. is there a difference between HD animated GIFs and 'normal' GIFs? I wasnt aware of any difference. anyone familiar with this GIF banner issue? thanks!

Lately most of the ads have been getting disapproved for this policy. Again, you’d have to make your ads compliant to that. Also, it’s advisable to re-upload the ads rather than making changes to it. The reason behind this is that now, since manual reviews aren’t happening anymore, it’s all handled by the system. If you make slight edits to the ad, there’s a possibility that the system might mark them again within a couple of days since it’s based on automation. Hence, re-uploading the ads is advised more in these scenarios.
