Question

Anyone ever disputed G ads w/ their bank? Any repercussions to doing this? Had ads keep running for ~1 mo even tho ad schedules were set to not run! Google is completely non-responsive. Suggestions?

Trust me I hate people that do this crap. But they’re spending money I told them not to spend. Google cut off their custo service (even remote workers) completely “cuz COVID” & keeps cutting me off w/ promises to ‘followup’ in chat & never follows up.

Tons will blame you for being a dickhead but tbh not even Google cares, never done that but if I did I would have over 1m back by now

If you dispute a Google charge they will shut you down until they get their money. It then takes a while to get account back on

That’s nuts! they’re definitely not supposed to be able to just spend my money randomly! how long to get ur account back? dont they ever give credit back?

@hendren when you sign up for Google you agree to that. They have all the power.

You account will automatically get suspended. So if that’s what happened, it sounds like you’re in the right. Before you dispute them, make sure you copy the existing account into a new one using a completely different email and payment info.

I have 2 backup cards on file too. has this happened to you.? will those cards get flagged? what about my personal name? @magen61151

@hendren it happened to me because when my agency took over the account, we forgot to delete the old agencies billing. Complete accident. Instead of calling us to work it out, they disputed. Anyway, any new card I put in, it was automatic suspension. Which tells me my whole MCC was flagged. Personal name shouldn’t matter. But I would probably get a new credit card number that wasn’t associated at all when you restart it. Just call your bank and have them issue you a new one
