Hello everyone, I would like to know your opinions on click fraud detection software like Clickcease? Some people say Google already does a good job preventing/crediting those, others say those softwares are a must. I'm thinking of getting one for a month or 2 to block the most obvious IP address then stop. I doubt my competitors are that tech savvy anyways. Does that make sense? Thanks.

I use software online company been invaluable I used to get hit with massive spikes and while yes Google may refund you at next billing cycle it doesn't stop your budget for the day being destroyed and then your ads don't show and revenue is lost.

There are so many bots on google especially in display. I’m not sure how well clickcease is doing ( we have it for a major client ) but budget definitely seems to last longer with it turned on.

We use PPC Protect. Found it more accurate than ClickCease and the owner (who is in here) is very responsive.

I use it. But I also see google manually giving back the fraud hits within 30 mins of it happening. One thing I’ve witnessed 100% tho, is say you got 4 clicks real quick in which you know were all fraud, they only give you 3 back and the original 1 stays. Still better than nothing

I've used many. If you really need it, I recommend clickguard. But I would not recommend using "clickfraud" software, except for very specific circumstances. I've seen terrible results due to false positives.
